The Movement for Peace-MPDL- divides its work into four broad areas of action:

International Action: We work in 15 countries through cooperation programs for economic and social development, in which we encourage the active participation of our beneficiaries. In cases of emergency or extreme hardship, we also implement humanitarian projects.

Social Action: This department spends much of its resources on the promotion and defense of vulnerable groups' rights in Spain, with special attention to immigrants. The areas of immigration and social and labour integration, with its free services, favours this group's integration in the host society. The other two pillars of Social Action are made up of the area of education, whose main objective is to teach citizens how to live in a diverse and plural society, and volunteering.

Codevelopment: The Movement for Peace thinks that migration must be addressed globally, by efforts to encourage development in the countries of origin and, simultaneously, the integration of the immigrant population at destination. The immigrant population assumes a fundamental role as the dynamic agent in these proposals.

Awareness programs: An essential part of our activity is spreading among the public, through outreach participatory activities, the Peacebuilding values that inspire our daily work. This involves, ultimately, stimulating a critical attitude among citizens towards the unequal reality around us, and ultimately,social change that is based on a more just, supportive and respectful world with the environment and the human rights.
